Applications for the 2026 awards are now open

Pivot Green, in partnership with the Small Change Fund, would love to recognize the great work your organization is doing in the fight against climate change.​

Fill in the application form to be considered for the 2026 Canadian Youth Climate Action Award. The deadline for submissions is March 16, 2025. Prizes will be announced on April 15, 2026.

 

The Canadian Youth Climate Action Award will provide the first-place prize winner with $7,500 and a plaque. Two $3,500 prizes will be given to runners-up, and up to eight additional $1,000 prizes will be awarded to projects worthy of an honorable mention. Submissions should be for established projects only, not for start-up or future projects.

Prizes will be given to the program/project that best meets the following criteria:

​

• Leads to concrete, impactful climate actions within communities

• Is primarily a youth-led, local, regional, or national initiative

• Involves a range of ages in its outreach and activities

• Has a positive environmental and social impact

• Has the potential to be replicated in other Canadian communities
